ROAD TO WORLDCUP TWENTY20 ‘09

Have you caught a dose of the WorldCup Fever yet?

It’s that time of the game when fans turn into fanatics and supporters turn into reporters! So here they are, cohesive together as one invincible unit, the runners up of the last T20 WorldCup, Team Pakistan, who will soon be seen dressed in their green armors, waging their wars in the 2^nd ICC World T20 at England. With batters who slog as if they have bats made of metal, and bowlers who bowl as if throwing stones at the devil, the Pakistani cricket side has got a lot to offer its fans this time.

So when is the extravaganza starting?

June 5, ’09!!

And what’s new this time?

The 2009 event sees both the men’s and women’s tournament integrated for the first time. The Finals day will be hosted at Lord’s that will bring the men’s and women’s tournaments together with the men’s matches following the women’s match on each match-day.

A key feature of the 2009 event is that the majority of match-days will include two games showcasing four different teams.
